12/24/07 11:43 pm - Christmas EveSo, I'm sitting at home, finishing up wrapping Monica's presents when I get a phone call. Monica was working today until 11pm, or so we thought. Turns out they changed it on her last minute. She's in until 12 instead and she's in tomorrow 10am to 6pm and on top of that she's now working until 10pm on New Years Eve. Seriously What the fuck? Her work has a "Work one get the other off." policy. She opted to work Christmas to have New Years off and now they are doing this to her. I keep telling her to get out and drop off that Resume to Scotia Bank that she keeps saying she wants to do. Maybe now she'll finally get the motivation to do just that. I'm going to push it after we get back from her parents on the 28th. Argh this just isn't right.
---------------------------------------- Stolen from Tenchan I Am A: True Neutral Human Bard/Rogue (1st/1st Level) Ability Scores: Strength-9 Dexterity-15 Constitution-12 Intelligence-12 Wisdom-10 Charisma-12 Alignment: True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction. Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like. Primary Class: Bards often serve as negotiators, messengers, scouts, and spies. They love to accompany heroes (and villains) to witness heroic (or villainous) deeds firsthand, since a bard who can tell a story from personal experience earns renown among his fellows. A bard casts arcane spells without any advance preparation, much like a sorcerer. Bards also share some specialized skills with rogues, and their knowledge of item lore is nearly unmatched. A high Charisma score allows a bard to cast high-level spells. Secondary Class: Rogues have little in common with each other. While some - maybe even the majority - are stealthy thieves, many serve as scouts, spies, investigators, diplomats, and simple thugs. Rogues are versatile, adaptable, and skilled at getting what others don't want them to get. While not equal to a fighter in combat, a rogue knows how to hit where it hurts, and a sneak attack can dish out a lot of damage. Rogues also seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to avoiding danger. Experienced rogues develop nearly magical powers and skills as they master the arts of stealth, evasion, and sneak attacks. In addition, while not capable of casting spells on their own, a rogue can sometimes 'fake it' well enough to cast spells from scrolls, activate wands, and use just about any other magic item. 10/18/07 12:38 am - Ganked from a friendfor anyone who doesnt know, hatsune miku is a digital idol. her voice is completely made by synthesizer. no, its not a girl singing and having her voice robotized. its not from any person, it is completely machine. hatsune miku is a program that costs around $150 the program was designed by some otaku who couldnt get girlfriends and so they invented hatsune miku. creepy |
9/24/07 08:03 am - Being Sick sucks assBasically what the subject line says. My voice is fucked right now. Was yesterday too. I've been taking anything and everything I can to get over this. I'd have gone into work if it wasn't for the fact I sound like the near dead. Everything better be cleared up by tomorrow. I need to work.

8/11/07 02:03 pm - UpdateWell, I've done some major cleaning today. Re-arranged the spare room a bit. It was not easy work and I'm not 100% done but all the hard parts are out of the way. The rest is up to Monica to sort her things on her new desk location.
Yesterday I picked up two new books for White Wolf from Monster Comics (I think I'm going to start going there every second pay to pick up books that catch my interest). Anywho, I found a copy of "Exalted LUNARS" second edition. Promptly scooped up. Then I was asking the resident expert in the store about what would be good for my characters in Venice. After explaining a bit about their concepts to him he and I picked out three books. Sadly I could only afford one with the Lunar book. So I picked up the "CLANBOOK: BRUJAH". Sometime soon I'll pick up the Gehenna book and the Malkie clan book(complete with kiddy scribbles!) Work is great. I -REALLY- like this job. Considering it's a call center that is saying a LOT. I work for Online Support. My mom works on it over in Antigonish(spelling?). I work under the FNS department as a claims reporting agent. Basically, Americans have Accidents and I ask questions about it then send it to their adjusters. Simple stuff. It's like what I was doing before hand with the surveys but this time people are calling me because they have to... BY LAW! Wooohahahahah! My Team Leader says the only thing I have to work on is Empathy. Pfffttt, like I need Empathy. My Empathy, and I told him and he kinda agrees, is "Lets get this done quickly then so the adjuster can call you back as soon as possible to help you." The travel is the only killer part of the job. On a good day it takes me 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time I leave home until I arrive at work. On a bad day, 2+ hours (Bloody Sundays ><) Still, it's not so bad, I just need to save up for an Ipod or something so I can listen to music on the way there rather then trying to play my DS. In regards to Venice Game Life, (From now on listed as VGL in my Livejournal) things are getting interesting. Eli Yesod- New Player in my head. Details withheld due to important plot details. Cyrus Alexandros- Current Primogen, need to find people to PLAY with so he can attempt to -keep- that position. Asahina Haruhi- Lets just say something interesting is going to happen very very soon. Markus Lezard- No change... Vincent LaCross- Someone is going to get a beating.. and soon. Chris Gulianni- Current in the middle of a Pentex raid to save Burt the Moose. Yes, the Moose. Aluria- NPC that needs more loving. Well that's about it, take care. |
8/7/07 08:36 pmSo I've been toying with the idea of making a vampire that is not technically evil but at the same time not really a 'good guy' either. The character is a really dark shade of gray. I stress a dark shade as he believes the ends justify the means. As anyone who will know the picture I'm using will understand the concept.

5/31/07 01:38 am - Arthur and the InvisiblesWow this movie is made of LOSE AND FAILURE
The story went way to fast, like a 26 episode series in an 90 minute movie. The CGI looked like poorly done claymation after a bit and the dialog went faster then even I could pay attention to. All in all the movie had potential but I have to give it a 2 out of 10 |
5/27/07 12:39 pmWell, saw the sun rise for the first time in a while. IE it took that long for me to convince Monica we should go to bed. It was after 5am. A new record of her staying up late.
